Who we are

A fabricator and erector, not a broker

Masas Trading & Contracting W.L.L is a Qatari steel contractor working for main contractors, consultants and end users. Steel is detailed, cut, welded and finished in our own workshop, then erected on site by our own crews. One team carries the package from shop drawing to handover, so there is no gap between who priced the work and who puts it up.

Standards we build to

Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS 2014) on consultant-approved work, under management systems certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

What a buyer is usually checking

Three things decide most steel packages: whether the contractor can hold the span, whether the paperwork will satisfy the consultant, and whether the crew will turn up. The pages on this site are arranged to answer those in that order.

How a job runs, from enquiry to handover

Five stages. The same sequence on a single warehouse frame and on a multi-building contract, so a consultant knows what arrives and when.

  1. 01

    Enquiry and scope

Send drawings, a bill of quantities or a description of the building. We confirm in writing what the price includes and what it does not before quoting.

  2. 02

    Shop drawings and approvals

Shop drawings, method statement, inspection and test plan and risk assessment, submitted for consultant approval against QCS 2014.

  3. 03

    Fabrication

Cutting, fitting, welding and surface protection in the workshop, inspected against the approved inspection and test plan.

  4. 04

    Delivery and erection

Transport to site and erection by our own crews, sequenced around the main contractor’s programme.

  5. 05

    Handover

Snagging, as-built documentation and the certificates the consultant needs to close the package.

Who we are

Common questions

What does Masas actually build?
Masas Trading & Contracting fabricates and erects structural steel in Qatar across four lines: structural steel frames, pipe racks and truss systems; pre-engineered buildings; roofing and cladding systems; and standing seam, sandwich panel and skylight work. The ISO-certified scope covers construction, installation and erection of pre-engineered buildings, structural steel buildings, roofing and cladding systems, industrial facilities, miscellaneous steel work, warehouses and related infrastructure works.
Do you handle erection as well as fabrication?
Yes. Masas covers both fabrication and site erection, so a single subcontractor carries the steel package from shop drawings through to handover. The ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certificates all name construction, installation and erection within the certified scope, not fabrication alone.
What is the largest clear span you have built?
Masas has delivered a 64-metre clear span on a sports hall and a 60-metre clear span on a hangar in Qatar. Both are column-free spans, which is the figure that matters when a building has to stay clear inside — a warehouse aisle layout, an aircraft movement envelope or a sports floor.
What size of building can you cover?
Masas has completed a 6,000 square metre flat roof store in Qatar. Floor area, clear span and height are the figures Masas publishes for scale; contract values are not published, so a buyer comparing capability is comparing what was actually built rather than what it cost.
Which certifications does Masas hold?
Masas Trading & Contracting holds ISO 9001:2015 (quality), ISO 14001:2015 (environmental) and ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety). All three were issued on 23 June 2026 by Recto Solutions Private Limited, accredited by the International Accreditation Service, and run to 22 June 2029 subject to annual surveillance. The certificate numbers are IAS230691945, IAS2306141946 and IAS2306451947, and each certificate is downloadable from the certifications page.
How can I verify your ISO certification independently?
Each of Masas Trading & Contracting's three ISO certificates carries a number — IAS230691945 for ISO 9001, IAS2306141946 for ISO 14001, IAS2306451947 for ISO 45001 — issued by Recto Solutions Private Limited and accredited by the International Accreditation Service. The certificate can be checked with the issuing body, and the PDFs are published on the certifications page rather than described. A certification claim without a number and an issuer is not verifiable, which is why Masas publishes all four facts.
Which areas of Qatar do you work in?
Masas works across Qatar, including Doha, Lusail, Al Wakrah, Al Khor and the Industrial Area. The workshop and yard are in Doha, which is where fabrication happens before steel goes to site — the full address is on the contact page.
How do I get a quotation from Masas?
Send drawings or a scope of work to Masas by WhatsApp on +974 7749 0296, or through the quotation form on the contact page. WhatsApp is the fastest route to a reply. Working hours are 08:00 to 17:00, Saturday to Thursday, closed Friday.
Do you work in Arabic and English?
Yes. Masas works in both Arabic and English, which covers the mix a Qatari project usually runs on — drawings and specifications in English, site coordination in either.
Why are some of your projects listed without a client name?
Some clients require confidentiality, so Masas publishes those projects by scope and scale — what was built, where, and the technical figures — without naming the client. A project is only named when written clearance has been recorded for it. The same rule is why no contract values appear anywhere on this site.
